Our department established in the year 1966-67 in the leadership of Sri.V.K.Sawkar Prof:V.D.Patil Started the department and later he shifted to Karnataka University Dharwad. Prof S M Saboji, Prof B. K Sannabommaji, Prof P J Kulkarni, Prof Kuravinashetty, Prof. B A Kiresur, Prof B I Koli and Prof R D Nayak joined to the department as workload increased Prof B K Sannabommaji, Prof P J Kulkarni and Prof S R Pratap have worked as principles more than twenty years. Department has prepared question bank for the students under the head chem. Forum. Our department has arranged chem. Forum annual function in the year 2008.
